I am no longer retailing my pottery to the public. I sell to craft Galleries mainly on the east coast . Please contact me for contact information for the galleries that carry my pottery.
ABOUT ME
My poor mothers' dreams of my becoming a physician ended when I took an elective pottery class at Appalachian State University. I soon changed from a Biology major to Industrial Arts and Technical Education. I took every pottery class ASU offered and made up several more under independent study. Teaching High School was not for me. I did my student teaching and promptly decided to open a pottery business. That was 24 years ago. It was a pivotal decision and I have not regretted making the decision to be a potter. A person could study pottery making for many lifetimes and still not learn everything about the subject. I live and work on an old farm in Watauga County North Carolina, near Boone and Banner Elk. My studio is in a separate building next to the house. I can be found there most days and generally have more to do than I can wrap my brain around. I sell my work through fine craft galleries, at the occasional retail arts and crafts fair and online through Etsy.com. A full listing of all my selling venues can be found on my where to buy page.
